Grand Marais Lions "We Serve"
We serve the community in a variety of ways. We plan and sponsor Fishermans Picnic (which is our main fundriaser that helps bring tourism to the community), assist other organizations with setting up events throughout the year, and we volunteer to help where we can when asked and needed. We also aid many people and organizations through donations and/or joint fundraisers. In the past 55 years the Grand Marais Lions have helped raise over 1.3 million dollars in donations for programs in Cook County as well as other groups and organizations around the world. We provide aid on both a one time and an annual basis.
